If you’ve been building with Strands Agents, you’ve probably hit a point where you wanted to ask someone a question, show off what you built, or just compare notes on how other people are solving the same problem. GitHub Issues works for issue tracking and feature requests, but it’s not great for the kind of back-and-forth conversation that happens when you’re figuring something out in real time.
That’s why we’re launching the Strands Agents Discord server.
Join here: https://discord.gg/strands
What’s There
The server is set up for builders. You’ll find channels for general discussion, news, and showing off what you’ve built.
A few things you can expect:
- Real-time help from the community and the Strands team
- A place to share your ideas about how to build agents, tools, and patterns
- Discussions on new features and releases
Why Discord
We looked at the options and Discord made the most sense for this community. It’s where developers already are, it supports threaded conversations, and it scales well as the community grows. In practice, the conversations that happen in a Discord server are different from what happens on GitHub because it allows for faster and more exploratory conversations. These are the exact types of conversations that often lead to ideas that turn into real features.
Come Build With Us
The server is live now. Whether you’ve shipped agents to production or you’re writing your first Agent() call, there’s a place for you.
See you in there.
